OMFGWHATISTHAT (and isnt it cute)

>.> Yes I’m late, and you’ve likely seen this avatar all over other blogs already. Nonetheless, I’m posting about Emma Gilmour’s Bloom Doll avatar, because this perfect mixture of cute and sometimes creepy definitely belongs in my inventory, trend or no trend! There are two male dolls and six female ones to choose from at the Sand Shack Surf Co. store. They’ve also got a Flickr photo contest going on, for more info see this entry in Emma Gilmour’s photostream. :D Now, pictures! Continue reading

Shock, shock, I’m a neko today. A rare sight indeed, but the cute neko ears and tail (sadly, dumpsters are not very tail friendly) from [CoCo] had me creating a new look. I love the little ball earring that dangles from one ear. Today, we’ve got some sales and a small peak in to a roleplay sim. Continue reading

Fantasy Faire Preview :D

Just in case you missed it, here’s the preview of the donation items from TRIBAL SOUL (the male elven skin “Godric”) and .::S::. Secrets Hair by Syndel Daviau! Bloggers got let in a day before the event starts, so I whizzed on over to see the sims. Syndel’s store is located in the Forest of Light.

I’d also like to show off a few more items that Syndel has in her store even if they’re not for the fundraiser:

Help Japan in SL: totally roleplay-friendly!

Posted in Charity Fundraiser, Horror, Urban with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on 22 March 2011 by Eiran Lionheart

Yes, I'm wearing rats.

Sorry for the absence! RL’s detained me as of late, but here’s a post I’d been trying to work on during my free time in the past few days. The Help Japan in Second Life fundraiser, which I mentioned in a previous post, officially began at 8:00am SLT on the 19th March. I can’t remember how long it’s running for because my memory sucks and there’s no indication on the website, so head there now if you can!

Ai ai ai Neko Samurai!

I was just hanging out with one of my good friends, Annie Arellano, at her store sim, the Canterbury Creative, when Eiran asked for a teepee to where I was. Surprisingly these two had not met before! After some quick introductions, we decided to show off some of Annie’s builds. Grabbing a few friends and soon we were heading off to the Edo-period Japanese sim, Hosoi Mura. Lovely build but, only a few roleplayers around when we popped in (then again it was quite late). However, despite the small group of roleplayers, we were given a warm welcome and a recommendation on where we should take photos. Here’s the result.

For more info on our outfits, and about Annie’s builds! Follow the more button!

Since my wings are clipped, you can’t let me fall…

Quickie but a goodie, I promise!
J and I were totally going to do something mushy and not at all interesting to you guys tonight (morning?), but then Eiran suggested we get all dolled up and hit the town. Well the town was kinda laggy, the city wasn’t very pretty…but this picturesque castle was just right! It’s a beautiful sim called Annon, The Gate. No roleplay there or really much of anything resembling it as far as we can tell, but it really is too pretty to not look at.

After Eiran and I were our usual glamorous selves, we decided to thrust J into a picture. Well, here he is folks in all his glory, even if he wanted to stay out of the camera’s reach. :D

There will be a much better post about J later and one with Eiran’s outfit as well (oooh, mystery and suspense! ;D ). See you then!

Neko dreamcatchers

Dreamcatchers: Eiran and Seren

Designer (and my former boss lol) SerenityDreams Destiny joins me in these photos which we took in a wild west roleplay sim, Cochise Valley. I’ve never tried western period RP at all so I can’t honestly tell you what it’s like… but there’s a whole bunch of sims out there dedicated to it! XDD Anyway why I am posting… Nek~O~Licious has released a new tail and ears set called Dreamcatcher! It comes in many colours, I forgot to count, but aside from a slew of natural shades it also comes in four bright crazy ones. 8D And from the name, you can tell what theme the accessories on the set take, if you examine the earrings on the ears, and the wrap around the base of the tail. (Click here to see the tail… and our full outfits :DDD)

Siden feral fantasy fu!

Kung fu fightin' in Siden >:O

Post titles are so hard to think of… XDDD anyway the above picture is a result of another random photoshoot idea involving Faust, Fluxa, Pie and myself! We picked the city of Siden for our location since it allows hybrid characters of pretty much any sort, and was also a place I could rez my posemaker stands. Pie is being a fox, Faust a badass canary (he’s yellow but look at those feet!), Fluxa a dark unicorn (with purple hair, which makes her a harajukunicorn XDDD), and me a sheep… (Closeups and credits follow the jump!)

The Neko Project 2011

Posted in Events, Neko with tags , , , , on 29 January 2011 by Eiran Lionheart

OK so this isn’t RP exactly, but nekos do make up not just a sizeable part of the SL population, moreso its RPer population. :D If you’re a neko, you may be interested in participating in the Neko Project 2011, by Ewokian Pessoa. Ewokian himself is a roleplayer (paragraph roleplayer at that!) and a former owner of a neko RP sim which I unfortunately was not able to be a part of because I joined SL too late, lol.

Ewokian Pessoa's Neko Project 2011

This is going to be going on all year, so as long as there are nekos in SL in 2011, Ewokian will keep adding people to the wall. :D What you gotta do to get in on the Neko Project, you ask? Read about it on the Virtual Neko blog!

As of this typing, there are 59 nekos on the wall, and I’m part of the last three :DDD

Eiran, Knightly and Seren at the Neko Project! The photo next to mine is the neko avatar of my friend Knightly McKay, and at end next to the real avatar me is SerenityDreams Destiny of Nek~O~Licious wearing her own ears, tail and boots, which are also available at her store (yeah so I’ve been shamelessly plugging, but I love that store XD).

(Clothing credits after the jump!)

What’s black and white and travels when bored?

… Me, apparently XD

RL-wise, I live in an odd time zone from most of Second Life’s population, which means when I log on its often during the quietest hours of the SL day, or night as it were. I threw on a random neko look (a sort of skunky one if I must say so myself) and set out on a tiny journey looking for urban-themed RP sims with little restriction on avatar appearance and no required combat meter so I could look around OOCly.

That's one of Banksy's artworks? You dunno Banksy? Shame D:

My first stop was Missing Mile, which is located on the Soap sim. It’s a free-form RP community, which was pretty empty at the time of day, save for a few scattered visitors here and there. Actually, I hadn’t really intended to make a post about all this, but I started taking pictures with the Banksy drawing in the background… and so this post was born.
